Reunited!

The Marlins went down scoreless in the first and the Marlins did likewise. The Marlins went scoreless in the second. The Mets went 1-2-3 in the second. The Marlins went scoreless in the third and Josh Thole doubled on an EPIC FAIL of a flop by Bonafacio in the third. Johan Santana grounded out in the third and Captain Kirk struck out to kill the rally. Murphy singled and David Wright singled. Lucas Duda grounded out to move up the runners. Murphy was thrown out trying to score on a passed ball to end the inning. The Mets went scoreless and Marlins did likewise to bring us to the home fifth, Mike Baxter struck out and Josh Thole struck out to end the inning. Reyes flew out to start the sixth, Bonafacio struck out, and Hanley Ramírez flew out to end the inning. Johan grounded out, Captain Kirk struck out and Tejada struck out to end the inning. Logan Morrison lined to Murphy at second, who made a BRILLIANT catch, Infante grounded to third on a great play by Wright and Giancarlo (formerly Mike) Stanton singled. Gaby Sanchez Tripled and the Marlins led 1-0 as Johan departed. Ramón Ramírez got John Buck to chop to the mound and end the inning. In the Home seventh, Murphy lined to right, Wright grounded out, Duda walked as Josh Johnson was pulled for former 2000 World Series Champion Randy Choate. Justin Turner, pinch hitting for Ike Davis, walked. Ozzie pulled Choate for Steve Cishek. Pinch hitter Scott Hairston walked to load the bases! Ozzie Guillén came on and pulled Cishek. Mike Dunn came on and walked Josh Thole, 1-1!!!!! Zach Lutz struck out to end the inning. In the top of the eighth, Chris Coughlan lined to third, José Reyes flew out to right, and Emilio Bonafacio grounded out to second to end the inning. In the home eighth, Kirk singled, and Rubén Tejada lined out on a bad bunt. Daniel Murphy singled and David Wright struck out. Lucas Duda singled off of Mojica to give the Mets a 2-1 lead! Justin Turner grounded out to end the inning. Frank Francisco got Hanley Ramírez to pop out, before Logan Morrison walked. Omar Infante popped out to third, and Giancarlo Stanton lined out to right to end the game. "PUT IT IN THE BOOKS!"
