Mets

The Rockies scored one in the first but a two run homer from Duda and an RBI double from Wright gave the Mets a 3-1 lead. Helton doubled to cut the lead to 3-2. Cuddyer tied the game with an RBI single in the fourth. Helton was tagged out on a rundown between third and home. Dexter Fowler struck out and Moscoso singled, 4-3 Rockies. Tejada singled, and Daniel Murphy singled. David Wright singled and Tejada scored to tie the game at 4. Wright stole second before Lucas Duda singled, 6-4 Mets!!!!!!!!!! Scott Hairston struck out to end the inning. In the home fifth, Gee set down the first two and Tulowitski singled. Todd Helton flew out to end the inning. In the sixth, Ike singled, Thole lined out, Ike moved up on Gee's sac bunt, and Kirk grounded out to end the inning. In the bottom of the inning, Dillon Gee retired the side. In the seventh, Rubén Tejada singled and Murphy followed suit. Wright hit into a 4-6-3 double play. Lucas Duda lined to right to end the inning. In the bottom of the seventh, Eric Young, Jr. lined out to short, Scutaro flew out to center, and Jonathan Herrera struck out to end the inning. In the top of the eighth, Esmil Rogers came on and got Scott Hairston to ground to third, Ike Davis lined out to short, and Josh Thole grounded to short to end the inning. In the bottom of the eighth, Tim Byrdak struck out the side, and in the ninth, Mike Baxter doubled and scored on a passed ball and Captain Kirk grounded out. Rúben Tejada grounded to first and Daniel Murphy grounded out to end the inning. In the bottom of the ninth, Frank Francisco allowed a solo homer to Dexter Fowler after recording the first two outs, but pinch hitter Tyler Colvin tripled, and the tying run came up in pinch hitter and former Yankee Jason Giambi. Giambi lined to center to end the inning!!!!!
