Yankees vs. Rays

The Yankees scored two in the first on an error by Elliot Johnson on an Ibanez hit, 2-0. They loaded the bases in the fourth with one out, and Russell Martin launched a GRAND SALAMI into right field, 6-0!!! Swisher doubled, 7-0. Pettitte departed in the seventh and was replaced by Failing Fred, who recorded two outs but let some runners on base in the process in what could be his last appearance as a Yankee. He set the Rays down scoreless and the Yankees won an excellent division game.
