Omar Quintinilla flew out, Jon Niese bunted into a fielder's choice to force Thole out. Captain Kirk flew out. Wright walked in the third and Duda followed suit. Ike flew out and Scott Hairston struck out swinging. Ludwick had an RBI double, 4-1. Duda was hit, Davis singled. Scott Hairston flew out. Josh Thole singled as Davis was tagged out. Omar Quintanilla flew out. Niese departed in the seventh. The Mets lost 4-1.
