Diaz doubled, 3-0 Braves. Heyward had an RBI single, 4-0. Veldespin doubled to make it 4-2 Mets. A two run single for Murphy gave a 6-2 lead to the Mets. Ike homered, 9-2!!! The Mets scored two on RBI hits from Valdespin and Duda. 11-2. Frank shut the Rays down in the ninth and the Mets got a well-deserved and much-needed win!!
