Hot Stove

The Phillies have agreed to a 1-year, $15,000,000 contract with LHP Cole Hamels, thus avoiding arbitration.

The Rays have agreed to BJ Upton and David Price in arbritration.

Craig Counsell has officially retired. He was an influential part in the 2001 World Series and was on base on November 4, 2001 AKA, the Last Night of the Yankee Dynasty. He will join the Brewers' front office.

And last but not least, Tigers all-star DH Victor Martinez tore his ACL last week and could miss the entire 2012 season.
