Yankees vs. Angels

Erik Aybar homered in the second, 1-0. Tex homered in the third, 2-1 Yanks! Granderson tripled in the sixth. Mark Trumbo homered in the seventh, 4-2 Angels. Swisher botched a catch on a Pujols ball in the eighth, 5-2 Angels. Jeter led off the eighth with a double and Grandy walked. Tex homered, 5-5!!! The Angels got two outs but put two Yankees on for Russell Martin, who singled, 6-5 Yankees!!!! Rafael Soriano pitched a solid ninth inning and the Yankees started off their second half on a high note with a 6-5 victory! Russell Martin threw out the runner for the final out and had the game-winning hit, and he is my player of the game!
