Mets vs. Phillies

Shane Victorino had an RBi single in the first to score Juan Pierre, 1-0. Rollins had an RBI double in the second, 2-0. Dickey singled and Murphy followed suit. Wright singled to score Dickey and tie the game at 2-2! Scott Hairston walked and the bases were loaded! Lucas Duda grounded out to end the inning. Hunter Pence had an RBI single in the fourth, 3-2 Phillies. Tejada doubled and David Wright homered as the Mets took a 4-3 lead!!! Hamels singled and Rollins tripled to tie the game at 4. A squeeze bunt allowed them to take a 5-4 lead. Antonio Bastardo came on to pitch the eighth and set the Mets down scoreless. Bobby Parnell came on and pitched a 1-2-3 ninth. Papelbon on came on in the ninth and Ike doubled to lead off! Thole laid down a sac bunt to move Ike to third! Kirk struck out and Valdespin was hit by a pitch and stole second. Rubén Tejada walked and Daniel Murphy singled off of Papelbon to tie the game at 5!!!! Wright had a bloop single and the Mets won a walkoff 6-5 victory!!!!!! The Mets won a dramatic, clutch victory scoring twice off of Papelbon!!! "Put it in the books!"
