Yoenis Cespedes homered in the first, 2-0 A's. Failing Fred loaded the bases in the first and Seth Smith singled, 4-0 A's. Tex had a sac fly in the sixth, 4-1. Swisher singled, 4-2. Nick Swisher hit a home run in the ninth, 4-3! Raúl Ibáñez struck out swinging and Russell Martin grounded out. The Yankees lost a bad game because of a bad offense and Failing Fred.
