Mets vs. Cubs
Valdespin homered in the second, 1-0 Mets.
Ike socked a homer, 3-0 in the third.
DeJesus singled, 3-1.
Parnell came on in the ninth and surrendered a leadoff double to Rizzo. Alfonso Soriano flew out, LaHare flew out to Tejada in left-center field!!!!! Steve Clevenger was punched out and the Mets had a well-needed 3-1 victory!
