Nix doubled and went to third on an error. Stewart had a sac fly, 3-1. Ortiz had an RBI double in the third, 3-2. A-Rod drilled an RBI triple in the fifth, 4-2. Swisher singled and Jones singled, 5-2. Jayson Nix struck out and Chris Stewart flew out to end the inning. Andruw homered, 7-2. Aviles doubled in the eighth, 7-3. Rafael Soriano pitched a semi-rocky ninth as the Yankees won their final game before the All Star Break.
