Tejada singled in the first and Wright was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second with one out. Ike Davis hit into a double play to end the inning. Jason Heyward had an RBI single in the second, 1-0 Braves. Chris Young walked in a run, 2-0. Chipper doubled and Freeman singled. Uggla homered, 5-0. Hairston doubled, 5-1, and Captain Kirk had a two run single, 5-3. Josh Thole singled to move Kirk to third. Tejada singled, 5-4 but Murphy grounded out to end the inning. The Mets loaded the bases with no outs in the fifth, but Scott Hairston struck out, Captain Kirk struck out. Josh Thole flew out to end the inning. Batista loaded the bases in the fifth and departed for Josh Edgin, who got the Mets out of a huge jam! Chipper homered in the sixth, 6-4. Uggla singled, 7-4. Torres had an RBI single in the eighth, 7-5.
