Nick Swisher, the first baseman, grounded out and Andruw Jones grounded out to end the inning. Gomez doubled and Ciriaco had a bunt single. Nava hit into a double play, 3-1 Yanks. Ciriaco scored on a sac fly by Nick Punto, 3-2 Yanks. David Ortíz singled and Salty Ciriaco had a three run double, 6-3 Sawx. Andruw Jones homered, 5-4. Logan departed in the seventh and was replaced by Cory Wade. Ryan Sweeney tripled, 6-4. Gomez doubled, 7-4 Sox. Ciaco stole home, 8-4. The Yankees loaded the bases in the eighth, and Andruw Jones flew out and Raúl Ibáñez popped out to end the inning. Chavez homered, 9-5.
