Quinton Berry tripled to lead off the first and scored on a Worth single 1-0. The Yankees loaded the bases in the second and Jeter walked to tie the game! A Granderslam gave the Yankees a 5-1 lead!!!!!! Ramón Santiago homered, 5-2. Fielder singled to score Berry, 5-3. Jason Nix doubled in the fourth, and then stole third. Stewart singled and Nix scored, and the Yankees had a 6-3 lead. Luis Marte came on to pitch in the fourth. Jones doubled, 7-3. Peralta homered, 7-4. A-Rod homered in the ninth and the Yankees led 9-4. The Yankees sent Cory Wade out in the ninth and loaded the bases before Soriano came in and got Miguel Cabrera to hit into a double play!!!!
