A-Rod had an RBI single in the first, 1-0. Omar Quintinilla homered in the third to tie the game at 1. David Wright homered in the fifth, 2-1. Mark Teixeira homered in the sixth and the Yankees took a 3-2 lead. Curtis Granderson homered, 4-2. The Mets put runners on the corners with two out in the ninth, but lost 4-2.
