Swisher hit a homer, 4-0. Torres singled and went to third on a steal and error and scored on a sac fly, 4-1. David Wright flew out and Scott Hairston flew out. Tex doubled on an error, 5-1. Dickey singled, Torres singled and Wright singled to score Dickey, 5-2. Turner and Cedeño singled in the sixth, and CC loaded the bases after a single and a walk. Torres singled and scored two runs, 5-4 and CC departed for Cory Wade. Tejada singled to score another run, 5-5. Wade loaded the bases in the sixth and Kirk struck out swinging to end the inning. Miguel Batista relieved Dickey and pitched a scoreless inning. Canó homered, 6-5. Torres singled and stole second. D-Rob balked to move Torres to third but the Mets did not score. Bobby Parnell pitched a scoreless ninth and Rafael Soriano came on to pitch the ninth and retired two men before allowing a single to Duda. Ike Davis flew out to end the game.
