Yankees @ Braves

A-Rod doubled and Canó singled to score a run, 1-0 Yankees in the first. Raúl Ibáñez homered to lead off the second, 2-0. Iván Nova singled in the second with two outs, but Jeter struck out to end the inning. A-Rod walked and Cano doubled to move him to third. The bases were loaded for Swisher, and A-Rod scored on a wild pitch, 3-0. Jeter singled and Granderson followed suit as Jeter went to third. The Yankees went down scoreless, however. Cody Eppley came on in the eighth, and Cory Wade came on in the ninth and later Boone Logan came on to retire the Braves scoreless. The Yankees won and moved into a tie with the Tampa Bay Rays for first place.
