I'm going ballistic here folks. The New York Giants NEED a MAJOR shake up, and fast.
The special teams are fine as is with Tynes, Weatherford, and Thomas.
The offense could use some new faces:
Eli Manning and David Carr are safe. The quarterback play has been consistant thusfar in 2011.
The running game might be an issue, though.
Ahmad Bradshaw, when healthy, is one of the better runningbacks in the league, and recently signed a new contract. Brandon Jacobs, however, is likely in his final year as a Giant with his play not being as well as it should and his mouth running off about his contract status. Da'Rel Scott may see his playing time increase more in the coming weeks.
And Kevin Gilbride might not be safe if the offense doesn't step up NOW!
The defense might be an issue. Perry Fewell has come under my wrath recently for the defense's play. The Cornerback position needs a mix-up.
With Prince Amukamara filling in admirably for the injured Terrell Thomas thusfar, Aaron Ross is likely to see his Giants career come to a long awaited end after the season.
The linebacking core has preformed well in 2011, and that will spell trouble for MLB Jonathan Goff, who after the season is a free agent.
Deon Grant could possibly be replaced at FS permenantly by Antrel Rolle.
I know that the team as it is now can win, but a collapse WILL mean MAJOR changes to the team.
Yo Ryan! It's Phillip! I'll support your blog 100%! Give or take 100%. (Hint: It's not give)
