It's official, free-agent SS José Reyes has signed a 6-year, $106,000,000 deal with the Miami Marlins.
The Mets rebuilding era begins now. They have no pitching, terrible catching, and no offense besides David Wright.
Which begins my next rant...
Wright MUST be traded before 2013, along with Johan Santana and Jason Bay. The Mets will not e a good team again for some time, so dumping the icons now to bring in new ones will benefit them in the long run. Tim Byrdak will be lost by 2013, and new farm talent and rookies will come in handy when the Phillies and Braves finally fall from grace and the Mets will be good again.
Call me crazy now.
