The Boston Red Sox have signed DH David Ortiz to a 2-year, $26,000,000 contract. Ortiz hit .318 with 23 homers and 60 RBIs in just 90 games, sidelined with an achillies injury.

This deal couldn't be better for Boston, getting a great player at a good deal, and Ortiz getting more than one year.
