Longtime Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver and former Jet Derrick Mason has decided to retire after 15 seasons in the league.
He had 13 receptions for 115 yards with the Jets last season with only 7 first downs and no touchdowns. He did not score as a Jet and was cut after being dubbed a "distraction" by teammates, having little production.
The longtime Raven had 943 receptions for 12,061 yards and 66 touchdowns in his 15-year career.
Mason in his brief tenure with Gang Green.
I wish him all the best in retirement.
