Yankees vs. Reds

In the third, the Reds put a runner on third, and Drew Stubbs walked but the Yankees avoided trouble. Cano doubled in the sixth, and Raul Ibanez DRILLED a homer into right field! 2-0 Yankees as they FIANLLY broke the tie!!! Ryan Ludwick homered in the seventh, 2-1 Yankees. Hanigan homered, 2-2. CC loaded the bases with two outs in the seventh, and walked in the go-ahead run, 3-2 Reds. Despite getting out of trouble, he put the decrepit Yankees in a HUGE hole. Cory Wade set the Reds down scoreless in the eighth, and Johnny Cueto departed in the bottom of the inning. Logan Ondrusak came on and nearly surrendered a homer to A-Rod, but instead he popped out. The Yankees went scoreless. Wade continued in the ninth, and retired the first batter on a flyout before being pulled for Boone Logan, who put two men on with two outs, and was replaced by Rafael Soriano, who allowed a double to Ludwick and cost the Yankees a victory, 5-2 Reds. Aroldis Chapman came on to close and set the Yankees down scoreless to end the game.
